FAQ

  1. Can’t be switched on
  2. Check if the battery has been charged.

  3. LEGEE cannot return to the charging station
  4. Check if the adapter has been properly connected to the charging station and it has been plugged into the power socket. Clear the objects around the charging station and clean the sensors with clean dry cloth. There is adhesive—which leaves no stain on the floor—under the charging station for fixation, please make sure the charging station is firmly fixed on the ground.

  5. Poor contact with charge contacts
  6. Please switch off the power and remove the power source from the charging station. Clean all charging contacts by using a clean cloth with rubbing alcohol to remove oxide.

  7. Avoid charging interruption
  8. It is advised to keep LEGEE switched on when charging, LEGEE will be able to return to the charging station automatically in case LEGEE is moved.

  9. The power consumption if leave LEGEE standby after fully charged
  10. The power consumption is very low when LEGEE is standing by, letting LEGEE stay connected to the charging station can help to maintain the battery’s best performance.

  11. The cleaning result is less satisfying
  12. Switch off power, then clean or change the side brush, the dust box, filter and the cleaning cloth.

  13. Works/moves abnormally
  14. Switch off the power, clean the side brush then clean the cliff sensors, put on a pair of new cleaning cloth, also check if the bumper is properly installed.

  15. The side brush does not spin
  16. Switch off power, then check if the side brush is jammed, clean the side brush and then reinstall it.

  17. LEGEE does not spray water
  18. Switch off power, check if spraying nozzle has been installed properly. Press the spraying button on the App will make LEGEE to spray once. If LEGEE does not spray water, please clean or replace them.

  19. How to make LEGEE to clean more efficiently
  20. Please clear the clutter, rugs, power cords, draperies before cleaning.

  21. Unable to establish the connection between the App and LEGEE.
    1. Please restart LEGEE and App.
    2. Weak Wi-Fi signal, please make sure LEGEE and the smartphone are both in the same area with consistent Wi-Fi coverage.
    3. Please update HOBOT LEGEE App and try again.
    4. Wrong WiFi password.
  22. LEGEE is offline.
    1. Please restart LEGEE and App.
    2. Weak Wi-Fi signal, please make sure LEGEE and the smartphone are both under consistent Wi-Fi coverage.
    3. Please update HOBOT LEGEE App and try again.
    4. If LEGEE has been moved to a different wireless network, please re-establish the connection between LEGEE and the App before use.
  23. LEGEE does not start cleaning at the pre-scheduled time.
    1. LEGEE must be switched on to proceed the scheduled tasks.
    2. Check the battery, LEGEE will not start cleaning if the battery is too low.
    3. Check if the pre-scheduled time overlaps the Do Not Disturb period?
    4. Did you change the default map? (Or changed area names? Saved a new map? Combined or split areas?)
    5. Did you cancel the default map?
  24. LEGEE returns to the charging station without completing the cleaning task.
    1. The battery is low (orange and blue light flashing,) LEGEE will resume cleaning after it’s sufficiently charged.
    2. If LEGEE returns to the charging station with sufficient power: LEGEE may have misjudged the landscape due to the floor molding and considered the task completed; LEGEE may also have encountered a narrow doorway or hallway and/or the Virtual Box or Virtual Barrier is blocking the way so LEGEE considered the task completed.
  25. LEGEE does not resume the cleaning task after charging.
    1. Check if it’s under the Do Not Disturb period.
    2. Check if the map was edited or canceled.
  26. LEGEE does not resume the cleaning task from the location it stopped.
    1. Failed to detect location after charging if the surroundings has been changed around the charging station.
    2. The path to the location has changed or blocked.
  27. How does LEGEE navigate?
    1. The lidar on top of LEGEE constantly scans the surroundings to identify landmarks and plan cleaning routes.
    2. Avoid walking around or staying too close to LEGEE during operation to prevent false detection.
    3. Make sure the upper lid is closed so it won’t interfere with detection. (Check if the trash bin is correctly installed and the water tank lid is firmly closed.)
    4. Do not place any object, pet, or child on top of LEGEE.
  28. Conditions for using the default map for cleaning.
    1. LEGEE needs to start from the charging station, it will detect its surrounding area and see if it matches the default map.
    2. If it’s a match, LEGEE will start cleaning and follow the selected areas/rooms, Virtual Box/Virtual Barrier settings, and Talent Clean settings on the default map.
    3. If it’s not a match, LEGEE will start cleaning the entire area and create a new map, it will not follow the selected areas/rooms, Virtual Box/Virtual Barrier settings, and Talent Clean settings on the default map.
  29. LEGEE does not play the voice prompts.
    1. Check the volume.
    2. Check if it’s under Do Not Disturb mode.
